ABOUT
"THE KINGERY":
"The
Kingery" is a full-cast, ongoing sci-fi serial drama.
The Kingery
began as a simple concept, which was merely that I gathered
up the best writers I knew and asked them to co-create an
original show with me. What resulted were many long discussions
and chats, planning sessions and debates over the course of
two years.
The show
was jointly created by myself, Susan Bridges, Macalla Eaton,
John Hardin and Theresa J. McGarry. It will be co-written
by all of the above, save Mr. Hardin, who is unable to work
on the series at this time. Also picking up writing duties
is Seth Adam Sher, who will also be overseeing production
of the show with his masterful direction.
This show
is a true departure for Pendant Productions. Where most of
our other shows are lighthearted and all-ages friendly, The
Kingery will be neither of those things. It is very much a
series intended for adults and it will explore some very serious
issues that can't as easily be touched upon in our other shows.
It's got
very complex, flawed characters... people with problems who
are just trying to find their way in life. It's something
we can all relate to somewhat, if not exactly on the level
of the characters in the show.
I think
we've got an amazing and intricate story to tell, and once
the first season is completed, I hope you'll think so, too.
