ROLES FOR TRANS MEN:
Hawthorn (late teens/early 20s/any ethnicity/any accent, transgender man)
Hawthorn is the intern in charge of "all the computer stuff" at an archaeological dig site before heading off to major in Computer Sciences at Hallamere Tech in the fall. He's naturally skilled at computers, but in his off time he loves to learn about magic. He's bright, curious, dedicated, and compassionate.
This is a large supporting role -- Hawthorn appears in almost every episode this season, and will be returning in future seasons. We'll need a fast turnaround on the first episode, since this is a last-minute recasting. THIS ROLE IS FOR TRANS MEN ONLY. PLEASE DO NOT AUDITION IF THAT IS NOT YOU.
Line 1: (chuckle) Don't worry about nerding out. We're all nerds here. Follow what you love, right?
Line 2: (nervous joking) Well, we're just going into the depths of a centuries-old ruined building without safety gear so uhhh what could go wrong?
