Tom Stitzer came to Pendant via supermanhomepage.com, where he learned of an open casting call for a new James Bond audio drama. After securing the lead role of James Bond, he went on to capture a few other roles in various Pendant Productions, and eventually became one of Pendant's directors, responsible not just for the actual voice acting, but also for putting it all together so it sounded like the actors actually were in the same room. Pendant Productions is Tom's first foray into the world of voice acting, but has always been using accents and funny voices or impressions to get a laugh. His accents came in handy during his high school years: "Whenever they needed someone in the annual play with an accent, I was the guy they called." Those accents payed off well, as they enabled him to capture not just the famed English agent himself, but Batman's acerbic butler, Alfred. Of all his roles, however, Tom enjoys the Ares role the best. "The character is so much fun to play. His lines are so enjoyable; his attitude so sarcastic and evil, always trying to get a rise out of you, and just teetering on the edge between calm and in control and wild, seething rage." Outside of voice acting, Tom's day job is that of an elementary/junior high general music/band teacher in Phoenix, Arizona, a job he has been doing for 9 years now. Aside from the usual concert band instruments, he also plays guitar, bass, and piano and sings and writes his own songs as well. Listen to Tom's interview in This Week In Pendant!
