"Hello, beautiful..."
It's hard to imagine how much those two little words have changed my life. It's also funny to think that I can go from those to cupping bundt with my fellow SCAR Trooper (meine liebchen!) or to the honey-soaked, dulcet tones of Hugo Strange, but there we go.
Time was, I was a young actor starting out on the road that so many travel - fame, fortune or just having a roof over my head to sleep at night. That was before voice acting hit, I started travelling and things got majorly out of control. Voice acting has been one wild experience after another, whether it's playing God or the Devil, or the immortal Steward of Autumn who pits the two together. Needless to say, I wouldn't change it for the universe. Which I've had... but that's another story.
So where was I? Oh yes, "Hello, beautiful." Ah, the memories... Fun times in the 300 Room or providing the massages for the lovely ladies of Pendant. I'm sounding old before my time, methinks... Pull up a chair though and pass me my pipe. Yes, now it all started in 200...5? Yes, something like that. Reminds me of when I was in India, trying to record in a room with no glass windows, just holes cut into the wall. I was waiting for the gaps when the motorbikes went past! Ha! No? Oh well... Young people nowadays, can't be impressed with anything.
"Hello, beautiful." That got your attention again, didn't it? Ha! Well, fine, be like that. Leave an ancient one to his thoughts. And his TARDIS. Oh yes, got one of those. Did I mention it travels in time? No? Well, you see, you don't listen... Kids these days never do... Still, lovely of you to drop by. Do pop in again soon.
