A long time fan of SciFi and comic books, Clover Watson grew up watching Star Trek (that's the Original series, back in the late sixies, for you young'un's) and playing superheros in the backyard. Her facination with the fantastic lead her to such hobbies as table-top and live-action role-playing, community theater (both on-stage doing melodramas, and behind-stage doing props and special effects), reading and writing fantasy and SciFi, and maintaining a vast collection of dragon and other fantasy figures and SF&F novels & movies. Recent hobbies also include photography. In school, she never took such courses as typing or home economics, but preferred astronomy and physics. Seeking a career that was not only logical and would pay well, but also allow her to use her creativity, she decided to focus her academic studies on computers and received a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin. She has worked as a Database and Software Engineer ever since. In recent years, she has broadened her programming skills to include web development (self-taught), and currently works for a company developing web-based interactive courseware. A true geek, she writes code in her spare time, and maintains her own web server. Clover became involved with Pendant Productions as a chance to do some role-playing (when you get to be my age, all your old gaming buddies are married with kids, and have no time for gaming anymore). Her (self-taught) voice repertoire includes a wide range of accents, including English, Cockneyed, Irish, Scottish, French, Russian and, of course, Southern, among others. Born and raised in Texas, she has made her home in Austin for over 30 years, and currently lives with her three cats (what computer geek doesn't have cats?).
